We are the Lexington, KY chapter of Architecture for Humanity. AFH is an international 501(c)(3) charitable organization that seeks architectural solutions to humanitarian crisis and brings design services to communities in need. We believe that where resources and expertise are scarce, innovative, sustainable, and collaborative design can make a difference.
At AFH-LEXKY, we believe in empowering communities to design positive change. Our goal is simply to facilitate a conversation between those who know design and those who need design. Through a collaborative effort, we aim to enhance the potential of people by providing the necessary tools to solve specific problems. We believe that good design should be more accessible where it is needed most --- in the homes and communities where people live.
